UPDATED NEWS: SUMMER TERM: It has been fantastic to have everyone back this summer term.

For this half term, We will be doing athletics on a Monday and cricket on a Friday. 

The Communication diary should ideally come in to school each day to record reading, spellings and messages. It also contains lots of useful information for learning. The children are asked to make one reading review a week and read at least 3 times a week and record this in their book. 

On a Wednesday, the children will have a new set of spellings added, based on the rule we are learning that week as well as some statutory year 3/4 words, we call orange words.

By the end of year 4 , the children should  be fluent in their times tables, so we will be making sure the children get plenty of practise. Please try and use TTrockstars at home as much as you can. We will be doing a times table check in June. 

This half term, we are looking in depth at the Ancient Egyptians.
