Meet the Governors

Welcome to our Local Governing Committee section.

Please find below details of how our Local Governing Committee is structured including the names, responsibilities and terms of appointment for each Governor.

Governors are representatives from across our school and local community.

Our Governors work closely with the Headteacher and teaching staff and are fully involved in the life of the school; regularly visiting the school to monitor aspects of school life and school improvement.

Governors have opted to have nominated roles to carry out their duties rather than meet as committees, therefore decision making and reporting is carried out at the Local Governing Committee meetings which happen on a termly basis.

Grange Community Primary School now has academy status within the Orwell Multi-Academy Trust. At the point of conversion, the Governance structure, roles and responsibilities have changed in line with the Scheme of Delegation determined by the Trust. Further details of the Scheme of Delegation can be found on the Trust website.

The Governors can be contacted via the School Office.
