2025-2027 Challenges

Our primary challenges in the year ahead are:

• Provide a rigorous, challenging and broad curriculum adapted, where necessary, to meet the needs of all children.
• Maintain consistently strong teaching to secure good outcomes for all pupils.
• Raise standards in reading, writing and mathematics so that learners of 'disadvantage' do not underperform alongside their peers and national comparators are met.
• We have an ever-increasing number of pupils with SEMH.  We want all pupils to feel safe, secure and securing good learning outcomes.
• Continue to reduce the number of pupils who are Persistently Absent (currently below national comparator), particularly learners of 'disadvantage'.
