Welcome Back We are delighted to be welcoming our Year 3 children back to school after what seems like, for many of our pupils, a very long time.
A return to school during the current climate could easily be anxiety provoking; however, as a staff, we will be doing everything within our power to ensure that your child’s transition back into school life and learning routines is as calm and supportive as possible.
To promote the safety and wellbeing of our children, we will maintain the safety measures established before the summer holiday. I have no doubt that the children will adapt to and respect our changes to routines and procedures. |

Start and End of the school day Our Year 3 start time is 8:45am. Following the clear markings from the school entrance, your child should enter via the external door to the Year 3 classroom and will immediately be directed to go to wash their hands.
Our Year 3 home time is 3:15pm Year 3 pupils will be dismissed directly from the classroom as promptly as possible when their parent/carer arrives in an attempt to avoid causing social distancing issues with other groups of adults entering the school site collecting from different year groups. Your assistance in ensuring a prompt exit from the school site would be greatly appreciated. |

What you need to bring to school Children will come to school wearing their full uniform except on days when they have PE when they will wear school PE kit. Year 3 will be having PE sessions on Thursday and Friday. The first day that the children will require their PE kit will be Friday 4th September, so will need to come to school in their PE kit on that day. Only those choosing to have a Packed Lunch should need to bring items in from home. At the start of the school year, we will discourage children from bringing items to and from school unless they have been agreed by a member of staff. |
