Senior Officer at Felixstowe Forward, Town Hall, Felixstowe

I joined Suffolk Coastal District Council in 2015 as the Felixstowe Forward Change Director.  I lead the Felixstowe Forward initiative to develop a collective approach to tackling the town's key challenges and opportunities to improve the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of Felixstowe.

Prior to this appointment a large part of my career was as the Chief Executive Officer of the Suffolk Education Business Partnership, a Suffolk based charity linking up with local industry partners to improve employability skills and raise aspiration in young people.

I have run my own business, worked for both private and public organisations, and tutored in business studies.

I am passionate about the need for young people to prepare adequately for their future adult working lives by having meaningful contact with local industry and the community.

I am delighted to have the opportunity to serve as a school governor.  I look forward to getting to know the school, its staff and the children in the coming months.
